  • The doors open and the courtroom is open for auctions at 9 a.m.
  • Typically sales can be quite active between 9 and 10 a.m.. This is the best time to be able to see all the tax and foreclosure sales in action.
  • Activity can fall off considerably after 10:30 or 11 a.m. However, auctions are likely to continue sporadically at least through early afternoon.
  • There is no schedule for when a particular property will be auctioned. Often properties are withdrawn at the last minute.
  • Each auctioneer acts independently of the others. Sales by different auctioneers are conducted at the same time other auctioneers are also selling.
  • Auctioneers typically have wait times between the sales of some properties. They are waiting for the go-ahead for certain properties.
Why Montgomery County?

The Montgomery County auction always has property sales ... and, in three different ways:
  • Tax Sales by Constables;
  • Foreclosure Sales by Attorneys;
  • Foreclosure Sales by Professional Auctioneers from Auction.com

The Brazos County auction, and other smaller counties, often have no sales, or only one or two. Brazos County handles tax sales at a different venue from other foreclosure sales
